Who operates this site

alexneff.dev and Practical AI Systems are operated by Alexander Neff. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to alexneffmgmt@gmail.com.

Information you choose to provide

  • Email updates: if you submit an email through the Practical AI Systems form, the address and submission metadata are processed by Formspree.
  • Messages: if you email Alex, the message, address, and any information you include are used to respond to you.
  • Purchases: Gumroad handles checkout, payment, receipts, and digital delivery. Alex may receive order details needed to provide access and support, such as your name, email, product, and transaction status. This site does not receive your full payment-card number.

Technical and analytics information

The hosting platform and analytics tools may process standard request and device information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, visited pages, timestamps, and interaction events. Course pages may use PostHog to measure page and learning-path interactions. Hosting may also provide aggregate traffic analytics.

Analytics are used to understand whether pages work, which learning paths visitors use, and where the experience needs improvement—not to build or sell advertising profiles.

How information is used

  • Respond to questions, role inquiries, and project requests.
  • Deliver purchases and provide access or billing support.
  • Send requested program updates.
  • Measure site reliability and improve content or conversion paths.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents and meet legal obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Information is shared only as needed with providers that support the site and offer: hosting and analytics services, Formspree, Gumroad, and email providers. Their own policies govern their processing. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, the site, or Alex's legal rights.

Personal information is not sold.

Retention and your choices

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, support, accounting, security, or legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information held directly by Alex, subject to records that must be retained. Email-update recipients can opt out by replying or emailing the address above.

For purchase records or data controlled directly by Gumroad, use the privacy controls or support channels provided by Gumroad.

Security, children, and external links

Reasonable care is used, but no website, email system, or third-party service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit secrets, production credentials, sensitive personal data, or confidential employer information through public forms.

The site and paid program are not directed to children under 13. External links lead to services Alex does not control.
